Shenzhen Map Art

Shenzhen's map splits sharply at the Shenzhen River, the border with Hong Kong, where the city's grid tightens into high-density blocks north of the water. The Pearl River Delta dominates the western edge, with Qianhai Bay indenting the coast and a web of canals threading through the flatlands. Luohu and Futian districts form the dense core, while newer development sprawls eastward toward Longgang, following rail lines that radiate from the city center like spokes.
