Park City's map centers on Main Street, which runs north-south through the historic mining district before the terrain fractures into ski resort subdivisions climbing the Wasatch ridgeline. Three ski areas—Park City Mountain, Deer Valley, and The Canyons—domino across the peaks east of town, their lift lines and runs visible as geometric scars on the mountainside. Kimball Fork and Deer Valley Fork creeks run parallel to Main Street, draining the canyons that give the city its skeleton.
